Sea Fishing Rods
Finished rods are available in Carbon Fibre, Carbon Composite, E-Glass & S-Glass. Carbon Composite rods feature the use of glass reinforced fabric in their construction either by integrating the matt in the wrap of the carbon matt or using the glass matt to create responsive tips to sections of rods. E-Glass and S-Glass are modern wrapping patterns used in the production of hollow glass fishing rods and still very popular in the construction of boat fishing rods. Décor features to enhance your rod
This feature can also be used on any sports equipment where it has a round cross section.
Thread is the most commonly used product employed to decorate or enhance the look of your fishing rod. In the simplest format thread colours other than black, dark green, dark red are used to wrap on guides, these alternative colours may have a specific meaning to the rod owner; maybe military colours; sport team colours; school, college or university colours; or ‘my favourite colour’.
There are three main areas, two using thread and one using imagery, that maybe used to personalise the owners rod.
Wrapped thread
Threads are wrapped round the rod blank in a known sequence to create a pattern.
Weaves
Threads are woven onto the rod blank to create distinctive images, pictures, logo’s, names etc.
Decals & Inscriptions
These are available commercially featuring a wide range of angling and non-angling images. Alternatively they can be made specifically to meet the needs of my client. Personalised inscriptions can be added to a rod for special occasions – birthday, wedding, retirement, etc.
